The "High and Low" Architecture of Bade Stageberg Cox, 1stdibs Introspective Magazine,
"Serving clients ranging from needy nonprofits to Manhattan's annual Armory Show to affluent homeowners, the New York City–based triumvirate of Tim Bade, Jane Stageberg and Martin Cox has carved out a niche for itself creating smart solutions to vexing, multidimensional design challenges." October, 2017
Why this year's Armory Show had record-breaking attendance, The Architect's Newspaper, March, 2017
"Bade Stageberg Cox Architects designed the layout of the show and the New York firm was on hand to remind visitors how effective the Miesian principle, “less is more” can be. The result was a more fluid and dynamic experience of The Armory Show." (Photo by Andy Ryan)
The political present: A report from The Armory Show 2017, Ocula
"The fair continues to sprawl across 250,000 square feet on Piers 92 and 94, which stretch into the Hudson River on Manhattan's Upper West Side. But architectural firm Bade Stageberg Cox was brought in for The Armory's 2017 edition to give the layout a complete redesign. This was a success, with the fair now feeling like a suite of interconnecting rooms rather than a huge, brightly lit tent. Genocchio also changed the way space was divided up, knowing that international art fairs of this scale (and somewhat modestly The Armory Show claims to be 'New York's premier art fair') need to be partitioned in one way or another if only to overcome visitors' viewing fatigue."
L'Armory fait son show à New York, Le Figaro
"Il était urgent de redessiner le plan de l'Armory show qui s'étend à perte de vue le long de deux grands quais, les Piers 92 et 94, sur les bords de l'Hudson. J'ai engagé l'agence d'architecture ultraperformante Bade Stageberg Cox qui a élargi les allées, aérées la disposition des stands en créant de belles vues sur le fleuve et donné plus de lisibilité au parcours en regroupant les modernes et les contemporains autrefois séparés», explique le directeur de l'Armory."
15 Finds at the Armory Show 2017, Whitewall
"This year, the floor-plan felt a bit more relaxed, designed by Bade Stageberg Cox. There is ample seating and lounge spaces (provided by luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois), and the refreshments and food offerings were definitely better than fairs past with services from Colonia Verde, By Chloe., Juice Press, Black Seed Bagels, Il Buco, and more."
Benjamin Genocchio on Making The Armory Show Relevant in Today's Market, Artsy
"Genocchio has removed another aisle in 2017—one that ghettoized a number of dealers on the left wing of Pier 94—and worked again with architectural firm Bade Stageberg Cox to further widen hallways and create more open spaces throughout the piers. The result should allow visitors better sight-lines and vistas when moving throughout The Armory Show, and it has allowed for an increase in the average size of booths that the fair offers galleries. But the director had other concerns, less immediately apparent to visitors."

Armory Show’s New Floor Plan Offers More Light and River Views, Artnet
"Brooklyn-based architecture office Bade Stageberg Cox has handled the fair design since 2012, and has signed on again this year. Among the firm’s other cultural commissions are New York’s Alexander & Bonin Gallery, the private museum called the Art Cave in California’s Napa Valley, and a recent redesign of New York’s National Academy of Design."
