Bade Stageberg Cox receives 2020 AAAL Architecture Award, March 2020

The American Academy of Arts and Letters has selected Bade Stageberg Cox for a 2020 Architecture Award, recognizing work that is characterized by a strong personal direction. The Academy’s annual architecture awards program began in 1955 with the inauguration of the Arnold W. Brunner Memorial Prize and has since expanded to include four Arts and Letters Awards. This year’s winners were chosen from a group of 34 individuals and practices nominated by the members of the Academy. The jurors were Annabelle Selldorf (chair), Peter Eisenman, Steven Holl, James Polshek, Billie Tsien, and Tod Williams.

April 8, 2011 : Micropolitan Tower wins third place in the AIA Flint x 50 Design Competition 
to revitalize the 1968 high-rise, Genesee Towers, and program it for future development

2010 : Art Cave receives International Architecture Award from the Chicago Athenaeum 
Museum of Architecture and Design

July, 2009 : Grafted House receives Award of Excellence from the American Institute of Architects, New York 
in the category of Residential, Small Projects.

January, 2008 : P.S.i. Summer Blow Up receives Honor Award from the American Institute of Architects, New York in the category of Projects.

June 2008 : Art Cave receives Honor Award for Architecture from the American Institute of Architects, California Council in the category of Design Advancement, furthering "the contemporary understanding of design by proposing new approaches to the development of architectural form." The Art Cave is recognized for both its technical and environmental contributions.

June, 2008 : Art Cave receives Lumen Award from the Illuminating Engineering Society New York Section, recognizing its "excellence, professionalism, ingenuity and originality in lighting design."
